Review: L’Oreal Fibrology Hair Care Range

L'Oreal Fibrology Hair Care
Hey guys, so you may have seen or heard of L’Oreal’s latest hair care range, Fibrology. My hair seems to have been getting thinner lately so when I saw that this was targeted at making your hair thicker I knew I had to give it a try. Luckily I was actually sent this to try out. It’s not a PR sample kinda deal, I am no where near big enough for company’s like L’Oreal to be sending me stuff! I think I saw something on their website where you just had to fill in your details and if you were one of the lucky people selected they would send you out some of the products from the range to try out and feedback your thoughts to them. So I have been using this exclusively for the past month or so and I really love it. The fact that I was sent this for free has no bearing on this review. If I hadn’t have been sent it I would have purchased it myself and my thoughts would be the same.
So what do I think? I really, really like this stuff and I will definitely be getting more when I run out. This is supposed to make your hair thicker and has a cumulative effect so the more you use it the thicker your hair becomes. I can actually feel a difference in my hair straight away just from the shampoo, my hair has a fullness to it if that makes any kind of sense. The secret ingredient is Filloxane which penetrates the hair and then expands to make your hair thicker.
The shampoo really lathers up so you don’t need a lot of it and it really leaves my hair feeling clean. The conditioner is a nice thick consistency which seems to add enough moisture into my hair to leave it looking and feeling healthy; it doesn’t dry it out at all. They also sent me the Thickness Booster which I was told to mix with equal amounts of the conditioner once a week to give an extra boost to the thickening process. I really feel like this has made my hair thicker – not massively so, I don’t have a bouffant now lol – just enough to where I can tell a difference. When I tie my hair back my ponytail feels thicker, like I have more hair.  Even Ben has said that I don’t seem to be losing as much hair anymore. Whether that’s from this range or not I’m not sure but I haven’t changed anything else so I can only assume it must be these products.
I would say if you’ve noticed your hair starting to get thinner give this a try. I don’t think it’s a miracle worker, so if you have severely thinning hair you might want to look into a more intensive hair care range. But for everyday run-of-the-mill thinning hair I think this is great and I would recommend it. It’s very affordable and the range also includes a Thickness Masque and a Thickness Creation Double Serum. You can pick up L’Oreal in Boots, Superdrug and most supermarkets; and I’ve listed the products and their prices below for reference.
